Wasps secure sponsorship with Scutum Group
An innovate and highly technical security systems and service provider, the Scutum Group has committed to a three-year sponsorship agreement as Wasps’ Official Security Technology Partner.
With over 25 years’ experience, the Scutum Group is a leading industrial player in the field of safety and security employing more than 1500 people with a turnover in excess of €150m.
The Scutum Group operate in the UK, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany, with their head offices in Paris, France. The acquisition of Orion Security Solutions in 2015 allowed Scutum to expand into the UK market and since then, the group has acquired four further security companies in addition to an Alarm Receiving Centre, providing a one stop shop for its UK partners.
The new partnership with Wasps sees Scutum and its subsidiary companies become the sole supplier of physical security and fire prevention products at the Ricoh Arena.
As part of the new relationship, Scutum has also secured contractual rights to in-stadium branding and sleeve sponsorship of Wasps’ home and away shirts.
The 150th anniversary shirt, to be worn during the 2017/18 season, will be unveiled by Wasps’ squad on Tuesday 22 August before going on sale the following day at Wasps pre-season friendly against Connacht, at the Ricoh Arena.

“Over 25 years, Scutum has developed a wide range of expertise that enables it to address clients’ needs in many sectors and this will be beneficial to Wasps as an evolving professional rugby club and to the Ricoh Arena as a multi-purpose venue that hosts concerts, events and exhibitions 365 days of the year.”
