Hours of work:                35 hours per week which will include match and event days

Coventry Building Society Arena is looking to recruit a Ticketing Executive to work in the Ticket Office on a 9-month maternity cover.

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer the successful candidate will work in a team to provide outstanding customer service and maximise ticket sales through efficient processing and distribution.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Manage incoming calls and enquiries from fans and customers by telephone, email or in-person
  • Accurately process ticket sales through the in-house ticketing system
  • Work as part of a team for upselling other matches/events
  • Processing renewals of season memberships
  • Managing away ticketing allocations
  • Managing sponsorship and employee allocation of tickets
  • Ensuring accurate completion of all financial transactions
  • Event and matchday ticket sales
  • Managing customer enquiries in a professional manner
  • Provide excellent and effective customer service to fans and customers at all times
  • Ensure all data is collected and updated in accordance with GDPR
  • Process debit and credit card sales
  • Daily till reconciliation
  • Assist in the set-up and on-sale process for events and matches
  • To carry out any other duties and tasks required by management within the remit of the post

Person Specification: 

  • Motivated, results orientated with a positive outlook
  • Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
  • Must be confident with the use of computers.  Training will be given for the in-house ticketing system
  • Excellent communication skills; customer-facing, via the telephone, via email
  • Willing to learn and the ability to interact positively with colleagues and fans

  • Must be trustworthy and reliable
  • A strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a busy office environment

Hours of work

35 hours per week working 5 days in 7 (including match and event days).  Additional hours may be needed from time to time to meet the needs of the business
